Games should be F-U-N-!

At the end of the day- a game should be fun and entertain, regardless the web# you are in 😁

Let's talk about Gaming 🕹 in general-

Today, players are paying top dollar to consume #entertainment , and all they are looking for is to have fun and bragging their achievements to their friends.

It seems that in the transition toward #web3gaming and its common #playtoearn (P2E) model, the element mentioned above kind of forgotten, and the focus was shifted to the tech side of business, and using buzz words like "own" "digital asset" etc. are just not enough anymore.

Telling players, we are on Chain X, using Wallet Y, and we will Mint Z, well... seems like they just don't care 🤨

I believe that part of this approach was the fact that the game builders invested many resources to be on #web3 and the #blockchain, making it their selling point, rather than making fantastic games 🎮

On top of that, to cover spent, they needed to sell assets (quickly), making it more of a marketplace than a game.

When speaking to colleagues it seems like the recognition is here, and the change is on its way.

Part of it is thanks to tools ( like Xternity) that make the dev. easier and much cheaper, but equally important is the understand of the players and they needs.

The revolution began, and like any revolution, the hiccups are expected, fine tuning is necessary, but we can all be sure, it’s here to stay 🚀
